My hubby rocks. Last week he decided that he absolutely needed to actually cook shrimp for dinner. Ever a fan of Chad-cooked meals, I agreed wholeheartedly. Chad seared the shrimp and I made a honey citrus lime vinaigrette. He chopped up lettuce, a fresh pineapple, and then topped it with some feta. Gourmet dinner. Yum.

Kenna Comes to Town
My sister Kenna came to visit two weekends ago and Ryder and I had a blast showing her around Provo. Sometimes I forgot how much our life has slowed down, but all of a sudden when I have a 17 year old to entertain, I remember how much our days are enriched with the little things. Snuggles in the morning, trips to the library, and spontaneous autumn day photo shoots. We hope Kenna had fun and that she is missing us as much as we miss her!
We love Auntie Kenna!

A Very Nacho Halloween
For Ryder's first Halloween we decided to go with a classic
costume... Nacho Libre. He was adorable. Plus he has the perfect little belly
to complete the look. This little cheeseball ate up all of the attention he got
with the costume on and made a perfect luchador.
Thanks to our friend Laci,we got to attend the Adobe
Halloween party which was awesome. They really go all out for the holiday and
had the most amazing trick-or-treating. One second we met Effie Trinket in
District 12 and then we were meeting Peter Pan and his shadow in Neverland.
Because Chad had to work on Halloween night, Ryder man and I
got to hang out. Which meant an all-day party of tights, no shirt, and a cape.
He was a born Nacho. We visited Riley at the BYU Records office for some
trick-or-treating, hit up the mall to see Daddy at Mr. Mac, and then ended by
spending an hour at a friend's party. He was quite smitten with one certain
little hobbit at the party. I definitely see a play date in the near future for
these two cuties!
Happy Halloween 2012!
