Back in the USA

As our European expedition came to a close, we had to readjust to the thought of coming back to reality. It's a good thing we missed Ryder man so much, otherwise it might have been hard to actually come back. It was another loooooong day of traveling, but we finally made it back to California with enough time to spend one day with my family. Ryder man definitely missed us while we were gone, but he also had the time of his life on his own little vacation. How can a one-year-old go wrong with undivided, constant attention, a dog & cat in residence, and doting grandparents & aunts/uncle. We were all pretty exhausted, but just happy to be back together as a family.

Back in the US, back to work, and back to reality. It's been fun. Can we start planning our next big vacation now?

London.

After 3 1/2 days of exploring the vast city of Paris and eating more pastries than should be allowed in such a short period of time, we hopped back on the Eurostar headed to London. Chad was ecstatic to be back in a place where English is the primary language spoken. I was too, but I missed the ambiance of the magical city of Paris. There's just not much else like it. London was an adventure as well, we saw Big Ben, strolled along the riverside of the Thames, shopped in street markets, saw Wicked, frequented Pubs browsed through the National Gallery, explored the Tower of London, ate a traditional English breakfast, and ran every morning in Kensington Gardens. It was another busy 3 days, but there was just so much to see!

It's been fun London. Be back soon.
