Myer Pants Afire

This past weekend we had ourselves a Myer family reunion. It was quite the affair. Our shirts said it all: Myer Pants Afire. Apparently we're all for unconventional when it comes to family mottos, or anything for that matter.

Thursday night we went up Big Cottonwood canyon to Grandma Renee's cabin for a family sleepover. The evening was spent listening to the banjo, roasting 'mallows, and socializing with family members we haven't seen in ages. Friday morning we got up early and headed out for a hike to donut falls. It was a beautiful day and the falls were quite the sight.

We took advantage of the zip line behind the cabin, hours of entertainment.
The morning would not have been complete without grandpa's blueberry pancakes. They'll change your life. Plus, he's such a cute old man, what's not to like?
On Saturday we had a picnic at Big Springs park with the Idaho Myer Family and the Hawaii Myer Family. Gotta love cousins.
Who knew my cousin Eric was so talented? He can climb up buildings and do back flips... for fun.
On Saturday afternoon, my Grandpa dedicated my Grandma's grave and unveiled her headstone. It's beautiful and I'm glad we will be able to visit it now.
This weekend was a blast. It doesn't happen very often that I get to see my Myer cousins and catch up with them, but I hope we'll get to see them again soon.
