Vacation Part 1: Gooseberry Mesa

We love mountain biking. There's no 2 ways about it. The first leg of our trip, we headed down to Gooseberry Mesa (outside of St. George). We left Friday night right after work and got down to the Mesa at around 9:30 p.m. We threw up our tent and crashed for the night. The next morning, we were up at the crack of dawn and out on the trail. It's the best time of the day for riding, especially in Southern Utah when the temperature can get to unbelievable highs in the middle of the day.
Our cute little tent, that we set up in the middle of the night no problem!

I just love taking pictures of our bikes.
Chad fell and got a rock lodged into his leg. It was awesome. Apparently, we Bennetts attract foreign bodies when we mountain bike and they get stuck.Luckily, Chad was able to push it right out. This is the rock before that happened. It was in there pretty deep.
Stopping for a break at the end of the mesa before heading back.
... Goodbye Gooseberry until next time.
